This follows the keel-laying ceremony of the first vessel early in the month, which means that the company has started the construction under a significant contract to supply 11 NGOPVs. The multi-role NGOPVs would be deployed for anti-piracy, coastal defense, surveillance, search and rescue, and protection of offshore facilities.
